    About The Opportunity

    In this position you will be responsible and accountable for managing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance functions of all plant equipment, project management of new equipment installations and timekeeping/vacation time/scheduling of the maintenance team.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Implement maintenance and engineering strategies to assure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the operational facility and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets.

    • Accountable for key Maintenance performance metrics including work order completion and machine reliability.

    • Support equipment feasibility studies and makes recommendations for investment; implements capital expenditure projects and is accountable for payback expectations.

    • Support Operations Leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

    • Execute the annual financial plan and monitor performance within planned budget.

    • Design, develop, and manage capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities.

    • Develop and execute site's preventative maintenance program.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to implement capital investment projects to drive operational excellence.

    • Support key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes.

    • Assure compliance with Company's work order platform.

    • Assure all tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirements.

    • Provide guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and hourly production team, working closely with direct reports.

    • Interact with key stakeholders to provide technical support and/or resolve equipment reliability issues.

    • Fill in when needed on any shifts due to staffing shortage, emergency or business critical events.

    • Willingness to go above and beyond the status quo of maintaining the department; "lead the change for the growth and innovation."

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree desired.

    • Minimum of 6 years of maintenance experience required, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

    • Industrial electrical maintenance experience required.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety andprotection of workers, environment and site

    • Knowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facility

    • Knowledge of the physical environment and full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities andinfrastructure

    • Knowledge of tools and techniques for preventing and addressing theft of assets, theft of information, vandalism, sabotageand other threats to a manufacturing facility

    • Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing, including its safe usage,maintenance and storage

    • Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturingprocesses

    Physical Requirements & Work Environment
    • Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting

    • Frequent walking and standing required

    • Occasional travel required

    • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
