Promote branch operations by providing exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding your individual sales and delinquency targets/goals. Your daily responsibilities will include servicing existing and potential customers, collecting delinquent accounts, and supporting the manager in overseeing daily operations when needed. Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

• Processes credit loan applications, presents loan solutions based on customer needs, and enthusiastically presents all available sales products.
• Proactively contacts customers with past due balances to offer possible solutions and resolve delinquency.
• Maintains a cash drawer, including processing payments and delivering daily deposits to specified financial institutions as required. 
• Achieves consistent results by meeting or exceeding expected individual and branch goals related to the sale of company products and services.
• Establishes and maintains exceptional rapport with customers, interacting with expertise to address concerns, answer questions, and assist them with their needs.
• Assists the Branch Manager with escalated customer issues, concerns, or past due balances, consistently following and applying Mariner policies and procedures. 
• Supports internal and external compliance directives and assists in completion of periodic branch audits.
• In manager's absence, coordinates functions and daily operational issues through communication with the District Manager.
• Applies Federal, State, and Local Application Consumer laws to ensure compliant actions.
• Serves as a team lead for the branch, providing mentorship, guidance, and training as needed on Mariner practices and industry knowledge.
• Supports management to drive positive, effective, and productive company practices and assist in advancement of business growth such as filling in for relief assignments or helping with New Branch Openings. 
• Consistently displays and encourages behaviors consistent with Mariner Finance values such as carrying out Mariner's mission statement and Customer Obsession (GLAD). 
• May perform additional functions depending on market demand and branch staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a customer service or sales position, with four (4) years of experience in the Consumer Lending and/or Financial Services industry with consistent demonstrated achievement of assigned KPIs.

• Two (2) years of successful experience as an Assistant Branch Manager at Mariner Finance, LLC or any affiliate or subsidiary, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Mariner Finance, LLC's internal operations, systems, and processes.
  • For all purposes herein, experience as a Branch Manager Trainee, Operations Manager Trainee, or Branch Manager at Mariner Finance, LLC or any affiliate or subsidiary may be considered in combination with or substituted for experience as an Assistant Branch Manager.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and all financial services programs utilized within the branch.
• Demonstrated ability to complete essential duties/functions in a timely, accurate manner.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, project leadership skills, and interpersonal skills in demanding situations.
• Must have, in good standing, applicable, required licenses to sell insurance products offered to customers by the branch.
• Must perform work related tasks at the assigned branch location except in the event of an emergency as determined by the company in consultation, as necessary, with applicable regulatory agencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline such as Business, Accounting, Finance, Administration, Economics; or military rank (e.g., E-4, W1, or O1 and above).
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English.

Saturday hours required seasonally and as business needs require.

Physical Demands:
