Our client is a seed-stage, top-tier-investor-backed startup building the simulation, observability, and evaluation layer for Voice AI agents — the infrastructure that lets companies trust and continuously improve their automated voice systems. It was founded by engineers who previously built core infrastructure at two of the largest cloud and AI platforms. Within a year of launching, it has been adopted by household-name enterprises across big tech, banking, healthcare, and food service, and now handles millions of calls a month on seven-figure revenue.

The RoleA high-bar, full-ownership engineering role on a small, fast-moving team. You'll architect and build the systems that simulate, analyze, and evaluate conversational AI agents, and design the scalable real-time infrastructure behind millions of live conversations. This is also a customer-facing role — you'll help build, sell, and deploy the product to some of the largest companies in the world.
What you'll be doing
Tech stack: Python, FastAPI, Supabase, Redis, heavy AWS (Lambda, EC2, Websockets, SIP), CI/CD; voice-AI tooling (LiveKit, Deepgram, Cartesia, ElevenLabs, Gemini); observability (Sentry, PostHog, Grafana, Datadog).
