Summary/Objective:
The press brake operator assumes a processing role in the production of finished parts and is responsible for the following regular and repetitive duties.
Preferred Education and Experience
  1. Minimum of a high school education.
  2. 1+ Year Manufacturing/industry experience.

Essential Functions:

  3. Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects.
  4. Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders and measurements
  5. Must be able to work independently and under close supervision.
  6. Must demonstrate production competency and knowledge of production systems.
  7. Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as deemed necessary.
  8. Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including fabricating machinery, measuring tools, etc.
  9. Must be able to physically lift and maneuver weights more than fifty pounds.
  10. Must possess successful problem-solving skills.
  11. Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow team members, customers, etc.
  12. Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations.
  13. Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes throughout the day.

Physical Demands:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day. The team member must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, time depends on production demands.
Travel:
Minimal to no travel required.
