Job description
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Keep Our Operations Running, Safely and SmoothlyAt Lineage, you'll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation - including hands-on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia, CO, and Freon refrigeration systems, upholding strict safety and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and facility control systems.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate updates to leadership.
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, CO, Freon).
- Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
- Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments (-20F to 100F).
- Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.
