Job description

Lighthouse Senior Living at Ellicott City is a welcoming and supportive assisted living community in Ellicott City, Maryland, known for providing personalized care and a warm, home-like environment for our residents. Core Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide assistance with transfers and ambulation using proper safety techniques
  • Support residents with meals, including setup, feeding assistance as needed, and monitoring intake
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing or supervisory staff
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
  • Documentation & Communication
  • Accurately document care services provided
  • Communicate effectively with residents, and team members
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines

Preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home health
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist with resident transfers
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary starting at $17.00 per hour
