Job description
Legacy Health Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Corporate Painter to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and completing painting projects throughout our skilled nursing facilities, including resident rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.
Essential Responsibilities- Paint and refinish resident rooms, hallways, common areas, offices, and building exteriors.
- Repair and replace drywall, patch wall surfaces, and perform wallpaper repairs as needed.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, caulking, and minor carpentry repairs.
- Plan, organize, and complete painting projects with minimal supervision.
- Monitor, maintain, and organize painting supplies and inventory.
- Prepare materials and work areas for scheduled projects and renovations.
- Complete work orders and resident requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with facility leadership, staff, residents, and vendors.
- Travel between Legacy Health Services facilities as needed.
- Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial painting.
- Knowledge of drywall repair, wall preparation, and wallpaper repair/replacement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to travel to all Legacy Health Services facilities. Mileage reimbursement is provided in accordance with company policy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school, vocational training, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Previous painting and general maintenance experience preferred.
