Job description

The Program Supervisor will be expected to participate in an on-call rotation in order to provide remote clinical backup and supervision to the Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams (MCORT). The Program Supervisor will review and sign-off on at least 20% of MCORTS reports for quality assurance purposes. Will manage and supervise direct care staff, including regular supervision, managing schedules, and addressing any performance issues.

The 988 Program provides 24/7 mobile community outreach services to adults in crisis, including mental health, substance use, and suicidal emergencies. Staff dispatch to crises in teams of two, with a Crisis Response Specialist and a Peer Support Specialist, to provide assessment, risk assessment, safety planning, linkage to services, and follow-up care. The Program aims to provide crisis de-escalation without use of law enforcement unless necessary for consumer or team safety. 

Hours:

Full time; some evening hours

Education/Experience:

Must possess a Master’s Degree in a mental health related field and will possess a clinical license (LPC, LCSW, etc) in addition to two years postmaster’s, full-time equivalent, professional experience in a psychiatric setting. The Program Supervisor must have at least one year of supervisory experience.
