Labor ComplianceAdministrator


Job Summary

We areseekinga detail-oriented and organizedLabor ComplianceAdministratorto support labor compliance activities forpublic works and private construction projectsthroughout the United States. This roleassistswith certified payroll and labor compliance reporting, supportsunion and Project Labor Agreement (PLA)requirements where applicable, monitors subcontractor compliance, andmaintains required documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Labor Compliance, Union & PLA Support

  • Assistwith the administration of labor compliance requirements forpublic works and private construction projects, including projects governed byDavis-Bacon, state prevailing wage laws, union agreements, and Project Labor Agreements (PLAs).
  • Collect, review, track, andmaintainCertified Payroll Reports (CPRs)andsupportingdocumentation from internal staff and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance with wage determinations, fringe benefits, apprenticeutilization, training contributions, and applicablecollective bargaining agreements.
  • Support compliance withunion reporting, PLA requirements, and labor agreement provisions, as applicable to specific projects.
  • Communicate labor compliance, union, and PLA requirements to subcontractors and follow up on missing, incorrect, or revised documentation.
  • Assistwith resolving labor compliance and payroll discrepancies, including coordination related to back wages or corrective actions.
  • Support audits, investigations, and government, union, or third-party reviews by compiling and organizing required documentation.
  • Maintainaccurateand complete labor compliance, union, and PLA files and electronic records.
  • Use labor compliance and reporting systems such asLCPtracker, DIReCPR, or other agency or client portals, asrequired.
  • Stay informed on changes to federal, state, and local labor compliance regulations, prevailing wage requirements, and union or PLA obligations.

Administrative & Office Support

  • Provide general administrative support including document management, filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Assistwith some AP responsibilities (i.e.Collection of subcontractor releases, providing payment status, processing creditapplicationsand processing invoices)
  • Assist with project documentation, reporting, and record retention for compliance-related records.
  • Respond professionally to inquiries from employees, subcontractors, unions, and internal departmentsregardinglabor compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with project management, payroll, HR, and accounting teams to support compliance and reporting needs.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detailand organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Construction industry administrative experience.

Preferred

  • Experience supportinglabor compliance, certifiedpayrollandprevailing wageforUNIONemployees
  • Above experience withOperating Engineers and Laborersspecifically
  • Familiarity withpublic worksand government-funded construction projects.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, unions, and compliance documentation.
  • Knowledge of labor compliance software or agency portals (e.g.,LCPtracker, DIReCPR).
