Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Long Beach, CA, for an Associate DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine). As an Associate DVM, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating animal health conditions, performing surgical procedures, conducting wellness exams, and developing care plans for pets. You will work closely with clients to educate them on preventative care and partner with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standards of medical care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating animal illnesses and injuries, along with knowledge of preventative care practices
• Experience in performing surgical and dental procedures
• Strong client communication skills to effectively explain medical findings, treatment plans, and preventative care measures
• Team collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and fellow veterinarians
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge in veterinary medicine through continued education or certifications
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid veterinary license in the state of California
• Experience in a small animal practice is a plus
