What You'll Do
As an Advanced Production Assembler (Rigging), you will:
- Set up and tear down Lantech machines per customer specifications
- Collect and stage components from multiple departments for machine builds
- Run cables and gain exposure to electrical components and systems
- Read and use a tape measure accurately
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Push carts and operate cranes for lifting and positioning equipment
- Operate a fork truck and lift loads up to 50 pounds
- Stand for extended periods (9-10 hours per day)
- Follow standardized work instructions to meet Lantech quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and on time
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience or background
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and follow standardized work instructions in English
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and electrical labels
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good attendance and reliability
- Willingness to obtain Lantech Marklift and Fork Truck certification
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, and work underneath structures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Desired Experience
- Experience with machine setup, rigging, or equipment assembly
- Exposure to electrical systems or cable routing
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities
- High level of attention to detail and manual dexterity
