Warehouse Associate
Purpose: As a Logistics Associate, you will fulfill the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and warehouse policy. You will also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Assist in accurately receiving material.
Assist in accurately stocking and organizing material within the warehouse.
Assist in accurately pulling material for jobs.
Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.
Assist the field team in locating material needed.
Assist in conducting accurate mid-year and year-end warehouse inventories.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining facilities.
Assist in keeping the outside yard clean and organized.
Ensure facilities are safe and work is conducted in a safe manner.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
2+ years working in a Warehouse or Distribution Facility
Ability to learn quickly with a desire to continue learning
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic and Team mentality
Ability to problem solve and work independently
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills required
Great interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to be used when working with Kimbel employees and customers
Customer service mindset and servant attitude
Forklift certification is a plus
Having a general knowledge of plumbing and hvac material is helpful
CDL not required
Clean Driving record. Candidates will need to complete MVR release form
Ability to pass a drug screen and DOT Physical
