Services Offered: 3D Laser Scanning Controls & Automation Construction Management Design & Drafting Engineering: Civil/Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Process Functional Safety Information Technology Instrumentation On-Site Services Operations & Commissioning Support Procurement Project Management.
    Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Drafter to join our Lafayette team.
    Position Type: Full-time
    Location: Lafayette, LA
    Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary
    Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required
    Responsibilities:
    • Prepares drawing plots and copies relative to project requirements and/or deliverables as directed by designers.
    • Responsible for making revisions to existing drawings, for all disciplines, per markups furnished by engineering or designers.
    • Capable of making site visits to help designers and engineers gather field information.
    • Develops an understanding of drawings for all disciplines.
    • Develops an understanding of project responsibilities with respect to specific task deliverables.
    • Develops an awareness of project schedule and budget.

    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Knowledge of/experience with AutoCAD.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

    Experience Preferred:
    • CADD/Drafting Degree or Certificate.
    • Industrial Technology or Industrial Electronics degree/certificate.
    • Knowledgeable in CadWorx, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, and Advanced Steel.
    • Previous experience in oil & gas industry.
