Role Description:
- Refine and update primary network design and implementation of production/non-production hybrid shared vpc host project. This includes:
- Multi-regional implementation of VLAN attachments to GCP network
- Validation of routing between GCP and Customer's On-Prem Network
- Containing private Google regional traffic to adhere to regionality requirements
- Define and document network design patterns for use cases:
- IPAM design, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Consideration for IP space preservation for allotted /18 CIDR for GCP
- GKE Networking
- Private Service Access (PSA) Networking (Google Managed Services)
- Routing pertaining to IPAM design
- Advise on design and deployment of Multi-NIC Security Devices (aka 3P NGFWs) in Customer environment.
- Design, implement and document pattern(s) for Workload Shared VPC Host Projects.
- Design, document and provide recommendations for implementing Cloud DNS resolution for GCP in Customer's existing multicloud solution
- Develop the Terraform network module that creates a host Google network with necessary components such as Interconnect, Shared VPC Host Projects, VPCs, DNS, Load Balancing, etc., and necessary security controls (e.g. network segmentation via tags and VPC firewall rules/Cloud Firewall policies).
Must-Have Requirements:
- Deep domain expertise of GCP Networking, Terraform
