Location: Onsite – Solon, OH
Overview
Pressco Technology (a Kestrel Vision company) is hiring an Final Integration & Test (FIAT) Technician to support final assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of high-speed inspection systems used globally in food and beverage manufacturing. This is a hands-on role working with mechanical components, wiring, sensors, cameras, and basic software systems. You’ll help ensure equipment is fully functional and ready before it ships to customers. This is an ideal role for someone with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who enjoys working with industrial equipment, automation systems, cameras, sensors, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly, integration, and testing of industrial equipment
- Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Support setup of cameras, sensors, and inspection components
- Run system tests and verify performance before shipment
- Document issues and update status in Excel or internal systems
- Work with engineering and production teams to resolve issues
- Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work area
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with mechanical or electrical work (school, trade program, hands-on projects, or job experience)
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to use hand tools and basic test equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, or similar)
- Ability to work onsite in Solon, OH
Preferred (Not Required)
- Manufacturing, assembly, or technician experience
- Exposure to automation, sensors, or cameras
- Ability to read basic schematics or drawings
