Now Hiring: Incoming Quality Inspector

Location: Groveport, Ohio

 Beauty & Personal Care Manufacturing

At Kdc/one Groveport, we’re proud to be part of a global network producing top-tier beauty and personal care products. Our site is growing fast, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Incoming Quality Inspector to help us maintain the high standards our customers expect.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be ensuring that every component and label entering our facility meets strict quality standards. Your work helps keep our production smooth, our customers happy, and our reputation strong.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Inspect incoming components using certified tools and ANSI/ASQC standards.
  • Receive and inspect labels in SAP using scanning software and customer specs.
  • Record and scan inspection results into the appropriate database.
  • Perform form, fit, and function testing on new components.
  • Manage SAP transactions to contain or release components and labels.
  • Maintain and create inspection standards for components and labels.
  • Communicate quality alerts and issues to management and team members.
  • Place non-conforming items on hold and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Conduct AQL inspections when needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on quality concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and company quality systems.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for inspection.
  • Follow and promote kdc/one’s safety and environmental policies.
  • Complete all required documentation and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Support overtime and additional duties as needed.

What We Need from You:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality inspection or a technical/mechanical field.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SAP and inspection tools is a plus.
