Job description
Seeking a Mid to Senior level Project Manager to provide Owner Representation on the construction of a hyperscale data center campus in Eagle Mountain, Utah. This individual will manage various scopes during the base build of multiple buildings on campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
B achelor's degree in construction management or engineering, or applicable trade/superintendent experience.
7 -10 years of experience working in either design or construction of projects. Experience in Labs, Semiconductor, Data Center, and/or Critical Facility Construction is necessary.
P roficient use of MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
S trong written and oral communication skills to exchange information with senior management, service providers, workers, and contractors
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Schedule:
R eview construction manager's (CM) monthly forecast.
H old weekly CPM schedule review meetings
A ttend multiple CM/subcontractor detailed planning meetings
O wner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment schedule management
V endor start up scheduling
C ommissioning schedule coordination
O wner/Direct vendor schedule management (IT, Roofing Consultant, Geotech, Third Party Inspectors)
C ustomer Fitout - schedule management
C ustomer Fitout - Phase turn over alignment (base build & Tenant)
Cost:
G MP buyout review and support
G MP buyout detailed analysis and ownership of recommendations
P rovide VE recommendations with analysis
C hange order review and approval (cost approval and process flow)
P roactive cost avoidance/reduction ideas
M onthly pay application review
Field:
Q A/QC general oversight
Q A/QC daily review and inspection with CM
S afety general oversight
S afety daily review & inspection with CM
f acility coordination (MOP's, Notifications)
A ssess weekly progress and provide accurate reporting
M anage OFCI equipment inspection/receiving process
Project Management:
P rocess cost documents (pay apps, change orders, etc.)
M anage and attend weekly OAC meetings and minutes
P rovide weekly project reporting
M anage project closeout process (financial, O&M's, punchlist, Ops, etc.)
Design:
A fter initial design, manage design coordination efforts
C oordinate customer fit out design package integration (non base-build)
V alidate design cost and process changes
M anagement of construction administration process
Permit/AHJ:
M anage and communicate overall permit process
A HJ inspection and certificate of occupancy process management.
