Job description
K2 is building the largest and highest-power satellites ever flown, unlocking performance levels previously out of reach across every orbit. Backed by $450M from leading investors including Altimeter Capital, Redpoint Ventures, T. Rowe Price, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Alpine Space Ventures, and others – with an additional $500M in signed contracts across commercial and US government customers – we're mass-producing the highest-power satellite platforms ever built for missions from LEO to deep space.
The rise of heavy-lift launch vehicles is shifting the industry from an era of mass constraint to one of mass abundance, and we believe this new era demands a fundamentally different class of spacecraft. Engineered to survive the harshest radiation environments and to fully capitalize on today's and tomorrow's massive rockets, K2 satellites deliver unmatched capability at constellation scale and across multiple orbits.

The Role
As a key contributor to team growth at K2 Space, you'll assist our recruiting team with scheduling, coordination, and ensuring an overall positive candidate experience. You'll be empowered to help provide solutions and continue refining our recruiting processes, rather than serving in a pure coordination capacity. Your daily responsibilities will include managing end-to-end interview scheduling, guiding candidates through the interview process, and delivering a world-class candidate experience. This is a full-time, on-site position in Torrance, CA.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end scheduling of all candidate interviews
- Partner with recruiters to provide exceptional candidate support and ensure smooth execution of onsite interviews
- Guide candidates through the interview pipeline with clear and frequent communication to candidates and hiring managers
- Coordinate candidate travel and handle associated expenses, as necessary
- Streamline processes to elevate the experience for both external candidates and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 2+ years of industry experience in a high paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite
- Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system such as Greenhouse
- Highly organized with a knack for prioritizing a strong candidate experience
- Attention to detail in an environment with frequent change
- Experience scheduling a high volume of interviews and meetings with nuanced availability and requirements
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay range for this non-exempt role is $25 – $40 + equity in the company
- Compensation will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to: knowledge and skills, education, and experience level
