Join the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) team, dedicated to helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals. Our business includes Chase Wealth Management, J.P. Morgan Advisors, Personal Advisors, and our Self-Directed digital investing platform, managing approximately $600 billion in assets with around 5,000 advisors across 3,500 branches and 20 offices

As an Associate, Liquidity & Banking Specialist within the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management team, you will support senior Liquidity Specialists with advisors and leadership as they work to support their clients. You will be responsible for promoting awareness and adoption of short-term investment solutions including Money Market Funds, Brokered CDs, Ultrashort Bond Funds, Mutual Funds, Treasuries, Managed Bond Ladders as well as Banking products including Checking, Savings and CDs. You will support senior Liquidity Specialists with advisors and leadership as they work to support their clients. 

Job responsibilities

  • Lead with the liquidity management framework and cash bucketing concepts.
  • Understand client near- and long-term liquidity needs through thoughtful, goals-based discussions with a focus on excess cash.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills by translating and synopsizing data to support strategies and solutions based on client goals and objectives in efforts to attract and retain assets.
  • Work with the Specialist on Field Leadership and Financial Advisor strategy to drive adoption and utilization of the team.
  • Provide support for awareness campaigns, market updates, prospecting opportunities, advisor resources, and client communications.
  • Assist in the development of educational product presentations, awareness campaigns, and market updates focused on liquidity solutions.
  • Partner with marketing teams to create actionable ideas and collateral.
  • Utilize strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to pull reports and summarize findings in slides that support conversations with senior leadership and advisors.
  • Liaise across the firm as appropriate, establishing and maintaining partnerships with the broader Investments and Products organization to foster cross-collaboration, idea sharing, and client deepening opportunities.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Series 7, 66 licensed
  • 3+ years of financial services experience
  • Knowledge of macro interest rate environment; understanding of wealth management 
  • Diversified wealth management and investment skills
  • Team-oriented with ability to interact effectively with various functions 
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to translate and synopsize data using strong analytical skills to support strategies and solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Investments experience strongly preferred
  • Banking, lending, and investment solutions a plus
