Position Overview

Joyful Journeys Mental Health Services is seeking compassionate and qualified licensed mental health counselors, specifically LMFTs, LPCs, or LCSWs, to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the mental well-being of clients in a supportive community health clinic environment. As a key provider of mental health services, you will play an integral role in assessing, treating, and supporting a diverse range of patients experiencing various mental health challenges.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while ensuring that our clients receive uninterrupted and high-quality mental health services. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated care. Our practice is committed to maintaining a supportive work atmosphere that encourages professional growth and development. While working remotely, therapists will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions and maintain robust communication with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges of each client, carefully developing personalized and comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Organize and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering community engagement and providing clients with valuable resources for recovery and resilience.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, addressing both mental and physical health concerns.
  • Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, utilizing your expertise to stabilize situations and develop subsequent care strategies.
  • Deliver education to patients regarding their mental health conditions and explore various treatment options and community resources available to them.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all documentation reflects the therapeutic process.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision, case consultations, and professional development activities to remain updated on best practices and recent advancements in mental health therapy.
  • Dedicate time to research the latest methodologies and evidence-based practices to enhance the level of care provided to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients are a diverse group of individuals facing various mental health obstacles, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and substance misuse issues. At Joyful Journeys, you will engage with clients from different backgrounds and age groups, providing individualized care that respects their unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, showcasing a solid foundation in clinical practices.
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating tailored treatment strategies.
  • Experience delivering both individual and group therapy to a wide demographic of clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on building rapport with clients and their families.
  • A commitment to ethical standards and professional boundaries within therapeutic relationships.
  • Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications required for effective practice management.
  • A collaborative spirit for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
