Job Summary
JCS Manzanita is currently looking to fill one Part-Time position as a SPED Paraprofessional I. Experience in working with students with special needs is preferred. This position is located in La Mesa, CA. Approximately 28 hours per week Mon - Thurs.
Performs any combination of the following instruction and support tasks in various school settings (classroom, playground, lunchroom) to assist administrative and teaching staff in supporting students with exceptional needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Copy of Transcript (Copies of unofficial college transcripts, showing at least 48 credits)
    • OR Paraprofessional Testing (If you have a Paraprofessional Certificate, please upload a copy.)
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (Current CPR certification required.)
    • OR Other (If you do not have a current CPR certification, please post a document stating that you will obtain CPR certification upon hire.)
  • Resume
  • Other (If no Test Result is available, please upload a document stating that you will obtain a Test Result upon offer of employment.)
    • OR TB Screening Result (Negative test results, dated within 6 months of the application required.)
