Job description

Job Responsibilities:
- Designing custom solutions using the item machine building kit using the item Engineeringtool and Solid Edge.
- Transfer drawings into company enterprise resource planning system (ERP-System) to create quotes for customers.
- Technical Support and specialization for the item Engineeringtool.
- Work with the sales team to provide best solutions for customers and participate in meetings.
- Prepare customer orders for production.
- Quality control of peer designs and production documentation.
- Administrative tasks and communication between the headquarters in Germany, item LLC and distributors.
- CAD Maintenance.
- Technical and product training as required.
- Candidate will report to the Engineering Manager.
Requirements
- College degree with a major in engineering or a comparable degree or experienced mechanical Technician.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience with CAD Software (Solid Edge / Solidworks / Inventor, etc) preferred.
- Analytical skills and a business focused approach.
- Familiar with the metric system (beneficial but not mandatory).
- Communicating and Teamwork skills.
- Intercultural skills.
- Exceptional verbal & written communication and presentation skills to provide quick responses to questions, provide product information, and make recommendations.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Professional Skills at Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Skills at any kind of ERP system such as SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
