The Creative Excellence Service Line helps our clients attain best-in-class advertising that drives business results. We do this by aiding Creative Development (help with creating advertising), Creative Assessment (help with assessing advertising and providing guidance to improve it) and Creative In-Market (ad tracking once the advertising is launched).
Beyond the day-to-day Creative Excellence periodically publishes thought leadership within the industry to showcase innovative ideas, insights, and point of views on a range of topics. Some examples include Advertising on TikTok, Super Bowl Awards, Sustainability, Representation in Advertising, Cultural Relevance and more. We also have incredible industry partnerships with the ARF, ANA, The Female Quotient, SeeHer, Effie, and Contagious.

Our approach centers around how our Creative Excellence Teams can help fuel the creative development process and unleash insights and advertising that acts as a spark for our clients' campaigns.
The VP will play a critical role within Ipsos Creative Excellence. This individual will exhibit leadership skills, business development savvy, and research expertise to shape and grow a significant portion of US revenue. You will oversee a dynamic team of advisory professionals - ranging from junior to seasoned researchers - ensuring they have a clear and strategic road map to success. With your guidance, your team is expected to provide best-in-class service, consultation, and thought leadership to a range of clients.
What you can expect to be doing:
  • Revenue and Profit Management: Set and achieve realistic, but ambitious, business development revenue and profit targets for the broader team.
  • Team Leadership: Balance the delegation of client relationship and project duties to your broader team, with the need to directly involve yourself in day-to-day activities as required/on strategic
  • initiatives. Oversee your team members so that projects are executed with excellence: on time, on budget, and on strategy for the client.
  • Client Development: Develop an understanding of our clients' business issues and the industries in which they operate. Maintain and strengthen client relationships. Become a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their big picture strategy and day-to-day needs.

This might be the job for you if you have:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant business and insight experience (marketing/advertising/planning/ market research) ideally, on the supplier side, client, or agency side, and/or in a consulting role, strong data, and advisory acumen.
  • Strong team leadership skills with experience in mentoring and managing others
  • Strong aptitude for research consulting with highly developed analytic skills
  • Ability to think strategically about the clients' business issues and design research to address the client's questions
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients
  • Superior organizational skills, including ability to manage and delegate work effectively, attention to detail, and demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Google Docs a plus

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary for this role is $150,000 to $160,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
