Job description

Position Title: 

Spotter/Truck Driver  (CDL Required)

Pay Rate:

Pay starts at $23.20/hour and is increased to $28.64/hour after 6 months

Category/Shift:

2nd Shift 3pm-11pm

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Operate the yard truck in a safe manner, during numerous drop & hook and staging scenarios Involving both loaded and empty trailers

  • Spots positions loaded unloaded trailers at assigned dock space for unloading or loading

  • Spot trailers on lot and some local runs.

  • Perform daily inspections on spotter truck and equipment

  • Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicles and/or equipment

  • Maintain logs of trailer movements and fuel

  • Check trailer inventory and report any irregularities on log forms

  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by management

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Must have a CDL class A License
