Job description

Bilingual Human Resources Representative

Intermountain Electronics (IE) delivers dependable and effective critical power and process infrastructure and mission critical systems to virtually every industrial sector in North America. We provide custom-engineered, packaged equipment to industrial markets. We specialize in designing, manufacturing, automating and testing power distribution equipment for OEM, mission critical, oil and gas and mining industries.

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, we are currently seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Representative for our dayshift to be based at our Price, Utah facility.

The Human Resource Representative (Bilingual) is fluent in English and Spanish and leads recruiting for IE's Spanish-speaking manufacturing talent pipeline, supports these employees through onboarding and orientation, and provides day-to-day HR support including benefits administration and employee relations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, source, and interview candidates for manufacturing and skilled trades positions across Intermountain Electronics.
  • Serve as a bilingual (English/Spanish) HR representative, supporting employees throughout their employment lifecycle.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and guide employees through onboarding, benefits, and company policies.
  • Translate HR documents, communications, and recruiting materials between English and Spanish.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and build strong talent pipelines.
  • Coordinate job postings, career fairs, community outreach, and partnerships with schools and workforce programs.
  • Assist employees with benefits, HR policies, leave programs, and general employment questions.
  • Support employee relations by helping resolve workplace concerns while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Promote a positive employee experience while supporting IE's Core Values and culture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or Employee Relations preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (Paylocity experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee benefits administration is preferred.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with employees, applicants, supervisors, and community partners.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or Employee Relations experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, industrial, construction, or skilled trades positions is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (Paylocity preferred).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to attend recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach activities as needed.
Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with regular interaction on the manufacturing floor.
  • Must be comfortable working in an active industrial environment while following all company safety policies.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule and occasional overtime as business needs require.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30
