Make your internship count
At Intelcom, interns don't just observe, they contribute meaningfully to real projects that shape how we operate. You'll gain hands-on experience, grow your skills, and explore long-term career opportunities in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in daily network monitoring by tracking operations and reporting any discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.
Participate in evaluating the needs when opening new stations, helping analyze optimal solutions with various stakeholders (finance, line transport, operations).
Help maintain the integrity of network parameters (e.g., transit times, sorting times, etc.) by ensuring regular data updates.
Participate in creating and updating technical documentation within the team's repository.
Provide support during peak periods, acting as a point of contact for troubleshooting the internal network, under supervision.
Performsimulationsusingsimulation software toidentifyoptimalscenarios.
Theroleinvolvesdaily(orregular) communicationwithpan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge ofsimulation,experience withAnyLogicis considered an asset.
Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Must be adaptable and a catalyst for change.
Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
