Job Details

  • 24 ED call coverage, including IP consults and surgical cases as needed
     

  • Weeks are Monday morning, ending Monday morning. (7 days on required)
     

  • Will be onsite for rounding, IP intakes, and surgical cases as needed, with on-site and after-hours call 
     

  • Weekends will be call with emergency onsite support as needed
     

  • General GI Required
     

  • EUS and ERCP are not required, but preferred; would consider General GI experience
     

  • BC in GI 
     

  • Average time to round: 2 - 4 hours based on 15 - 30 min per patient
     

  • Average call back per 24 hours: 7-8
     

  • Support Staff: Hospital unit RN's and PCT's not specific to the GI provider. 
     

  • Youngest patient: 16 or 17 
     

  • New Consults: 6-12
     

  • Follow-Up Consults: 8-12
     

  • Total daily average daily pts: 16-17
     

  • Anesthesia on call or moderate sedation is available
     

  • EMR: EPIC
     

  • Beds: 334
