Input Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III to manage, maintain, and expand secure industrial control networks supporting critical VA medical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support LAN, wireless, and multi-site networks
- Maintain secure Industrial Control Networks (ICN)
- Troubleshoot network issues, IP telephony, and security systems
- Coordinate with VA staff and vendors to ensure seamless network operations
- Manage documentation, IP space, and network asset lifecycle
- Provide support for CCTV, AMAG access control, and JCI systems
- Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 3 and VA security policies
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT/network engineering
- 10 years of Cisco Experience
- Certifications:
- CCNA โ must be valid for 3 years
- ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Expertise with Cisco VRF-lite, 6500/6509 switches, wireless controllers, VLANs
- Familiarity with access control and CCTV systems
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Must meet Tier II background investigation requirements
- Knowledge of Cisco Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF-lite) configuration.
- Knowledge, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco Catalyst 4000, 3000 access layer switches.
- Knowledge, configuration and maintain Cisco Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) systems 5500 series controllers, 3000 series access points (AP).
- Cisco Access Control Server (ACS) 802.1X end point administration.
- Conducts core services installs and management of Virtual LANโs (VLAN) enterprise wide.
- Manages enterprise network architecture, routing, routed, metro-e LANโs and VRFโs.
- Knowledge of wireless controllers.
