About Us:
IET Corp is a leader in the installation and integration of low-voltage systems, specializing in telecommunications, electronic security, and AV solutions. We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to help install, configure, and troubleshoot our systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings.
Job Responsibilities:

I

nstall, terminate, and test structured cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial cables.

P

rogram, configure, and troubleshoot security, access control, CCTV, and AV systems.

R

ead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

C

onduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.

E

nsure work meets industry standards and client specifications.

W

ork closely superintendent, leads and other team members to complete installations efficiently.

M

aintain a clean and organized job site.

P

rovide basic customer training and support as needed.
Requirements:

2

+ years of experience in low voltage systems, telecommunications, security, or AV.

K

nowledge of cable installation, termination, and testing.

E

xperience with access control, intrusion detection, surveillance systems, or AV equipment preferred.

A

bility to work independently and in a team environment.

S

trong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

A

bility to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.

C

ertifications such as BICSI, OSHA 10/30, or manufacturer-specific training are a plus.

V

alid driver's license and reliable transportation.
