Job description

Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to our Tampa, FL location. This position is responsible for a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing physical tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries to verify accuracy and condition of items.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for customer delivery or transfer.
  • Stock materials in designated areas and maintain organized inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including frequent mounting and dismounting.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, sweeping, and organizing materials.
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outbound orders.
  • Ensure products are labeled and stored according to company standards.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred. HVAC/Plumbing knowledge is a plus.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to pass required safety training, background checks, and drug screening.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable working on feet for extended periods of time.
Work Environment:
  • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures (heat and cold), noise, and dust.
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent movement and activity.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
