Your role will emphasize addressing relational dynamics within families and couples, fostering meaningful change and connection among clients.

About the Organization

iWant Wellness Psychotherapy is a family-oriented, multi-specialty mental health organization committed to offering exceptional, comprehensive care. Our multidisciplinary approach includes services such as psychotherapy, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), social skills training, psychological testing, and psychiatric care. We pride ourselves on making mental wellness accessible through both virtual and in-person sessions. Our team's collaborative model ensures that clients receive tailored support, amplifying their journey toward improved mental health.

Work Environment

As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will operate from the comfort of your own secure workspace, leveraging cutting-edge telehealth technologies to connect with clients in Westmoreland City, Pennsylvania, and beyond. Our digital platforms facilitate seamless communication and documentation, while our support team is available to assist with any technical needs. We value the work-life balance of our therapists, offering flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain trusting therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering an environment of respect and understanding.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Regularly meet with clients to provide empathetic counseling, continually adjusting treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
  • Document client progress meticulously in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with telehealth regulations and organizational policies.
  • Facilitate family involvement in therapy sessions when appropriate, providing guidance and education to family members to support ongoing recovery.
  • Engage in outreach activities to promote awareness of mental health resources within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on clients facing substance use challenges and related mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our patient demographic varies widely, encompassing individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups, which enriches your therapeutic experience and reinforces your ability to adapt interventions effectively.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) in Pennsylvania is required.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is necessary; an advanced degree (e.g., MSW) is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential, with specific experience in substance abuse and family therapy.
  • Familiarity with telehealth systems and electronic documentation tools is expected to ensure smooth delivery of remote services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication, empathy, and active listening abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Access to reliable high-speed internet and a private, secure workspace for conducting sessions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with community outreach or referral development initiatives is a plus.
  • Familiarity with additional therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or mindfulness-based interventions.
  • Prior experience utilizing telehealth platforms in a clinical setting is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive compensation ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Performance-based incentives to reward outstanding work and client outcomes.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy, alongside paid holidays.
  • Flexible schedules to support work-life balance, particularly for our remote workforce.
