Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service & Showroom Associate to join our team in Kent, WA. The ideal candidate will bring a couple of years of prior experience in the outdoor industry, along with a willingness to learn and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

In this role, you will serve as the face of iKamper for both in-person and online customers-welcoming visitors to our showroom, responding to product and service inquiries, and guiding customers through our rooftop tents and outdoor lifestyle products. Your goal will be to deliver a brand-aligned experience that inspires confidence and builds lasting customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers, providing product knowledge and tailored recommendations.
  • Demonstrate product features, setup, and functionality of iKamper tents and accessories.
  • Assist with showroom operations, including merchandising, restocking, and cleanliness.
  • Handle shipping damage and warranty claims
  • Support sales efforts by processing orders, answering customer inquiries, and coordinating with the sales and operations teams.
  • Represent iKamper's brand values by delivering an authentic and enthusiastic customer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales and service goals.
  • Participate in occasional outdoor events, trade shows, or campouts to promote the iKamper brand.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the outdoor industry (retail, sales, or customer service preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Proficient with POS systems and experienced in using Shopify, Monday.com, and Zendesk platforms.
  • Willingness to learn iKamper's product line in detail and share knowledge with customers.
  • A reliable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with tent setup/demonstrations.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
  • Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time)


Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on outdoor experience (camping, overlanding, adventure travel).
  • Familiarity with rooftop tents or overlanding gear.
