Job description

Hyperlogistics, a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Warehouse & Distribution Services company near Rickenbacker Airport, is looking for an Maintenance Technician to fill their facilities maintenance opening. This position will support all 4 warehouses and average about 40 hours per week with a starting hourly rate of $35-$40 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain multiple (4) warehouse facilities, both inside and outside, in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
  • The repairing and maintenance of racks, dock plates, dock doors, and the overall building.
  • Repair dock lights, lights, and other minor electric appliances.
  • Repair plumbing, assist in maintaining sprinkler systems and coordinating testing of the system.
  • Assist in watering forklifts.
  • Work closely with others in department and share responsibility in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and repairing equipment.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop equipment through regular inspections.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on light industrial equipment, racking system, dockplates and dockdoors as needed.
  • Must be able to perform minor repairs on racking system, dockplates and dockdoors as needed.
  • Assist the Crown technician with repair of their MHE as needed.
  • Must be able to do minor drywall work, electrical and plumbing repair as needed.
  • Able to operate a Crown forklift; Standup, Sit-down, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker
  • Other jobs as assigned.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Have a clean driving record as they will have access the company’s pickup truck.
