Client Delivery Specialist (Legal Assistant)

The Client Delivery Specialist (Legal Assistant) serves as the primary operational partner for assigned attorneys within a practice. This role manages workflow execution, cross-functional coordination, and administrative support while reducing attorney project-management burden. Specialists maintain direct responsibility for attorney relationships, matter completion, and coordination across operational teams. Essential job functions include:

Position requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree with major coursework in a related field; or commensurate professional and educational experience required.
  • 5+ years relevant experience providing comprehensive support to organizational leadership, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • 3+ years relevant legal assistance experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and drive work to resolution with minimal direction.
  • Strong communication skills, including providing concise, solutions-oriented status updates and recommendations to attorneys and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential information of highest level.
  • Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm; previous transcription experience preferred.

Compensation and benefits for this position include:

  • State of California: $56,000 - $114,000
  • State of Colorado: $52,000 - $92,000
  • State of Illinois: $51,000 - $98,000
  • State of Massachusetts: $56,000 - $107,000
  • State of Minnesota: $56,000 - $93,000
  • Washington, D.C.: $72,000 - $106,000

The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance. Full-time employees receive benefits including: medical and dental coverage; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; pre-tax flexible spending account for certain medical and dependent care expenses; an employee assistance program; Paid Time Off; paid holidays; participation in a retirement plan program after meeting eligibility requirements; and more.
