Position Overview

HELP USA is seeking a Cook, a member of the food services team at one of our transitional, shelter housing sites.  The Cook will be responsible for helping with food preparation, food service, and kitchen cleanliness. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with food preparation.
  • Assist with food service.
  • Keep inventory and daily meal counts.
  • Assist with kitchen cleanliness.
  • Stepping in for the Head Cook in their absence.

You're a great fit for this role if you have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience and skills.
  • Food Handler’s Certificate required.
  • Willingness to continue training in food preparation and related courses.
