HTI is seeking an experienced Business Development / Key Account Manager with a leading global plastics manufacturer. This position will focus on driving new business growth, expanding strategic customer relationships, and developing commercial opportunities within the injection molding and plastics manufacturing industry. This position is Direct Hire and can be based onsite in Emporia, VA or Dallas, NC. The pay range is $105,000 - $125,000 depending on experience. What They Offer:

What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong background in plastic injection molding
- Strong commercial business development background with an established network
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing sales, business development, or key account management
- Proven ability to leverage existing industry relationships that can lead to new customer opportunities
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
What Your Role Will Look Like: The Business Development / Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving strategic commercial growth by developing new business opportunities, expanding customer relationships, and identifying long-term market opportunities within the plastics and injection molding industry. This individual must be highly motivated, relationship-driven, and capable of operating independently within a fast-paced global organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and industrial customers
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, industry relationships, referrals, and market outreach
- Leverage existing customer and industry contacts to support business growth initiatives
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline including RFQs, quoting activity, and program launches
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned with company objectives
- Lead the full sales cycle including prospecting, pricing, negotiations, and contract execution
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Serve as a trusted advisor by aligning manufacturing capabilities and technical solutions with customer needs
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and strategic recommendations to support continued growth
- Communicate forecasts, project updates, and account performance metrics to leadership
- Travel as needed to support customer relationships, business development activities, and industry events
- Additional duties as needed and assigned
