Job description

Position Overview

Honor Care Psychiatric Services is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team in Reno, Nevada. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make substantial contributions to the mental well-being of individuals through personalized, evidence-based therapeutic practices. We invite you to bring your expertise to a collaborative environment that values innovation and compassion in mental health care.

About the Organization

Honor Care Psychiatric Services is a thriving private practice committed to providing comprehensive mental health care tailored to each client's unique needs. We pride ourselves on our team of licensed professionals who are equipped with the knowledge and experience to empower clients to overcome various mental health challenges. As a practice, we uphold ethical standards while fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for both clients and staff.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing you to work comfortably from your home or any location that meets the needs of your practice. While the position is primarily virtual, our outpatient office in Reno serves as a serene retreat for in-person sessions when necessary. Our work environment promotes flexibility, collaboration, and mutual respect among team members, ensuring that you have the support needed to thrive in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs fully, allowing for informed, individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide teletherapy services using established therapeutic modalities, maintaining a focus on client-centered approaches that promote healing and personal growth.
  • Develop strong therapeutic alliances by establishing collaborative goals with clients and actively tracking their progress throughout the treatment journey.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, seeking out new methodologies and staying informed about current trends and best practices within the mental health field.
  • Ensure that all documentation is meticulous and timely to comply with ethical and regulatory standards while reflecting our organization's commitment to professionalism.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse array of clients experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will work with individuals across various age groups, each with unique backgrounds and challenges, providing them with the care necessary to lead fulfilling lives. The role emphasizes cultural competence, ensuring each therapist has the tools to effectively address the needs of varied populations.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is a prerequisite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with clients.
  • A compassionate and non-judgmental outlook, crucial for fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to balance clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks efficiently.
Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly those familiar with integrating technology into therapeutic practices. Experience in teletherapy will be beneficial in supporting our remotely delivered services. Additionally, familiarity with various therapeutic approaches will enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

Compensation and Benefits
  • The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
  • We support a healthy work-life balance with flexible scheduling options tailored to your needs.
  • Administrative assistance for scheduling, billing, and insurance processes will allow you to focus on what matters most: your clients.
  • Benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities, including reimbursement for continuing education, to further your career within the field.
Career Growth Opportunities

Our organization recognizes and nurtures the professional aspirations of our team members. There are substantial opportunities for advancement within Honor Care Psychiatric Services, whether through training for leadership positions or deepening your clinical expertise. We aim to cultivate an environment where you can grow and develop alongside your colleagues.
