Controls/Automation Engineer

Join our dynamic team as a Controls/Automation Engineer, where your expertise will be pivotal in executing comprehensive controls projects. This role encompasses concept development, research assistance, estimation, component selection, network and panel design, device troubleshooting, programming of PLCs and HMIs, on-site installations, debugging, and post-installation support. We seek a proactive individual with a solid foundation in controls engineering concepts and a strong commitment to continuous learning and advancement.

Comprehend and apply knowledge of AC/DC control systems; interpret component specifications.

Utilize design engineering software and PLC programming tools effectively.

Diagnose system issues and communicate findings clearly both verbally and in writing.

Contribute to the design and implementation of successful control systems.

Assist in creating electrical circuit layouts for power and control distribution.

Participate in the generation of detailed schematic diagrams.

Support project installations and startups through comprehensive checklists.

Develop and correct electrical diagrams with precision and speed.

Be a key team player, fostering communication and collaboration.

Perform additional tasks as required to meet project objectives.

Proficiency in various programming languages and control device networks for PLCs.

Commitment to ongoing training and certification in relevant control technologies.
