Job description
Temporary contract safety position in construction for ~26 weeks.

Responsibilities
- Providetechnical expertise regarding internal EHS programs, policies, andprocedures,
- Supportstaff (internal) with existing construction safety programs, as it relatedto installation of solar panels at ground level.
- Provideexpertise to help evaluate, identify, and reduce risk and losses throughthe application of environmental, health, and safety principles andregulatory expertise.
- Conductor coordinate reviews of follow-up expectations and activities, asappropriate, and track corrective items on agreed timelines to closure,using client's electronic Procure and velocity EHS systems
- Facilitatethe implementation of prevention and risk reduction programs to improvesafety and health programs, policies, and procedures
- Providetechnical training on unsafe acts identified in the field and toolboxtalks, if requested by site team and awareness of construction safetypractices relating to health and safety.
Requirements
- OSHA 30 hour for Construction is required
- Approximately 40 hours per week for 26 weeks
- Travel within the state of Maine required
- Location - Augusta, ME area (all sites are within approximately 1.5 hours or less from Augusta)
