Position: Software Integration/Software Test Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL- 100% onsite

  • Duration: 12 month contract
  • Interview: 2 video conference interviews with coding
  • US citizens only with Active Secret Clearnce.
  • Ability to get a clearance is not acceptable, must be active

Job Description

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
  • Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
  • Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Required Experience:

  • At least 4+ years of experience with C++
  • At least 4+ years of experience in integration
  • At least 4+ years of experience working in a System/Software Integration Lab (SIL), including test planning, procedure development, and execution of manual and automated tests
  • At least 4+ years of experience working in an Agile team environment (daily scrums, sprint cadence, program increments, and release schedules)
  • At least 4+ years of experience scripting automated tests and performing data analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
  • At least 4+ years of experience in hardware and software integration, including use of COTS and custom tools to evaluate software against requirements, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions
  • At least 4+ years of experience analyzing software defects and resolving system-level issues
