    Print Technician


    Job Purpose

    The purpose of the Print Technician role is to be the leader of the Printing side of our Branding department, working directly under the CoEx, Thermoform, and Printing Supervisor.  The Print Technician will be responsible for full operation of the Printing Machines, troubleshooting, minor routine maintenance, and training and leading Print Operators to ensure the efficient operation of the department.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate dry offset printing machines and provide breaks to Operators
    • Utilize print set up sheet to properly set up dry offset printer
    • Provide training to Print Operators
    • Utilize Quality Inspection Sheet to ensure company product standards
    • Mix and adjust ink
    • Manage all changeovers for dry offset printers
    • Perform basic troubleshooting and routine minor maintenance on dry offset printers
    • Locate and sign out parts for printers
    • Enter scrap and flip work orders on Mattec

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Must have a strong working knowledge of the printing process and industrial printers; previous experience with dry offset printers is preferred
    • Must demonstrate troubleshooting and mechanical skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Forklift/Tow Motor experience
    • 12 hr shift, 7:00p. – 7:00a.
