Job description
Great Divide Chemical, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements to support onsite operations in Rock Springs, WY.
Position Summary The CDL Driver safely transports chemicals and related materials while following all DOT regulations, company procedures, and safety standards. This role ensures timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and proper handling of materials. Drivers also support basic vehicle readiness and day‑to‑day operational needs.
Key Responsibilities • Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently • Deliver materials to job sites on schedule • Perform pre‑trip, post‑trip, and routine vehicle inspections • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and compliance records • Secure loads and follow all safety and spill‑prevention procedures
Required Qualifications • Class A CDL with Tanker & Hazmat endorsements • Safe driving record and strong safety mindset • Must pass pre‑employment drug test • Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly • Ability to climb ladders and man lifts • Ability to meet DOT physical and job‑related demands • Full‑time onsite availability
Preferred Qualifications • 2 years driving experience preferred • Experience with commercial deliveries • Familiarity with hazardous materials handling • Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping • Professional communication with dispatch and internal teams
