Base pay range $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr Job Title: BA/Tester Type: Contract (12 months, chance for extension) Location: Remote Summary This role supports a strategic digital banking initiative following a recent acquisition. The successful candidate will play a key role in migrating financial data and functionality from an existing banking system into the Q2 digital banking platform. This position will collaborate closely with product owners, testers, analysts, and project leadership to lead gap analysis, authentication workflows, data migration oversight, and testing efforts to ensure a seamless transition for end users.

Furthermore, this hire will be responsible for creating change requests, working with change advisory, roll back planning, and collaborating with IT and Enterprise Architects. Responsibilities Conduct gap analysis between legacy bill pay systems and Q2 platform requirements, identifying discrepancies in functionality, data, and technical setup. Validate identity mapping and credential provisioning for incoming users; implement controls to ensure data integrity and prevent unauthorized transactions.

Partner with data analysts to monitor mapping accuracy and security during platform-to-platform migration efforts. Collaborate with dedicated testers during the conversion phase and perform hands‐on testing to validate system functionality and data integrity. Create and refine test documentation and lead communication across testing, product, project management, and treasury teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsible for creating change requests, working with change advisory, roll‐back planning, and collaborating with IT and Enterprise Architects. Required Experience Having worked in the banking industry, with familiarity in banking IT processes and terminology. Experience with Q2's digital banking platform, particularly around user provisioning, authentication workflows, and bill pay integration.

Strong background in software, data, or platform testing, including full‐cycle testing from project initiation to completion. Prior experience performing gap analysis between legacy systems and new platforms to identify functional and technical gaps. Experience supporting data conversion or migration projects, ideally within banking environments.

Ability to create test documentation and effectively communicate findings and status.
