    Site Development Civil Engineer

    For more than 60 years, GPD Group has been providing architectural, engineering, and planning services to clients across the United States. With a diverse team of over 830 professionals working in 13 different offices, it is our passion for our work and our commitment to our purpose that unites us.
    GPD is currently seeking a Civil Engineer for our Site Development team located in our Akron and Independence, OH office locations.
    The ideal candidate will possess:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Experience in Site Development Design a plus.
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with site planning, engineering, project coordination.
    • Ability to work with senior engineers/designers and meet respective deadlines.
    • Must possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a multi-tasking work environment.
    • CAD/Civil 3D knowledge preferred.
    • Proficiency in grading and storm water management design preferred.
    • Valid Driver’s License is required.
    Day-to-day job responsibilities:
    • Site planning and coordination.
    • Grading and storm water management design.
    • Design coordination with internal engineers and architects.
    • Background coordination with our internal team of surveyors, environmental specialists, and geotechnical crew.
