Activities Assistant | German Centre Home
$22.00 - $23.00/hour, based on experience
Part -Time | 8:30AM - 5:00PM OR 9:30AM - 6:00PM | rotating weekends and holidays
At German Centre Home, we not only provide compassionate and comprehensive care, but we are a leader in the industry when it comes to the value we place on resident care and employee appreciation!
Delivering Solutions that Matter:
  • Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' individual needs and care goals.
  • Document participation and progress accurately.
  • Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
  • Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.

Qualifications for Success:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills - specifically with MS Office including Work, Publisher, Outlook email, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
