If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader - we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

As an Enterprise Portfolio Project Manager your key area of responsibility will be ensuring projects produce the required deliverables of quality, within specified time constraints and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case. In addition, the successful candidate will have technical competence using software programs (including Google Suite for business) and the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Responsible for overall project execution success, serving as the main point of contact for clients, senior management, and project stakeholders.

  • Oversee all aspects of the implementation and progression of assigned projects, from original concept through project closure activities.

  • Provide leadership for the project team by building and motivating them to meet project goals and adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to define comprehensive project scope and clear, measurable objectives.

  • Contribute to defining the resources required to support the project.

  • Develop detailed work plans, defining key project tasks and deliverables, and manage the integration of resources and knowledge across projects and tasks.

  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project issues, risks, and changes to ensure project success and minimize impact on scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Communicate expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.

  • Partner with various business units, acting as the liaison between the different areas of the business, the customer/partner and technical teams.

  • Provide clear and timely status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues to ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned on project progress, risks, and critical decisions.

  • Maintain up-to-date project document repository, ensuring all project artifacts are accessible and current.

  • Develop and deliver progress reports to management and other stakeholders including issue/action item logs, project status, and risks.

  • Conduct post-project reviews and make recommendations for continuous excellence in project execution and delivery.

  • Participate in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.

  • Ensure adherence to corporate standards and practices and serve as a key contact in the escalation process.

  • Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • 3 - 5 years of required previous experience in Project Management or relevant working experience which demonstrates experience driving projects to completion.

  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree with a specialization in Business, Engineering or a related Technical field (or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience).

  • Experience working in a technical or engineering organization, knowledge of the high-technology industry, and/or experience in compliance, privacy, or security risk management.

  • Strong technical competence with JIRA (highly preferred), Agile approaches (SCRUM, XP, Kanban), and Google Suite for business.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum (PMI-ACP, CSM/PSM), or Technical Certifications (CISSP, CISA, Cloud) are highly valued.

  • Flexibility with work schedules to accommodate different time zones, including availability to work different shifts and weekends.

If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
