Performance Tester
Location: Columbus OH (Hybrid-2 Days Office)
Duration: 06 Months Contract
Rate: DOE

Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science or related work experience
  • Immediate authorization to work in the US
  • 10+ years' relevant work experience in Software Quality Assurance, focused on performance engineering and testing
  • Experience being a hands-on leader, leading performance testing activities and assisting other team members
  • Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients
  • Quality Assurance principal's knowledge and experience with executing tasks in a high-quality manner
  • Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written) to partner technically with Application Architects, Development, QA/Testing organizations and Business teams
  • Experience working on enterprise level applications.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting performance testing systems and strategies.
  • Should be able to Model how data is going to be loaded for performance testing.
  • Experience in using and configuring performance testing tools. For example: NeoLoad
  • Should have good understanding of existing web technologies
  • Should be able to produce Performance test reports
  • Should be able to interpret performance testing bottlenecks and come with suggestions for performance improvements
  • Should have good knowledge of T-SQL (DB Query writing)
Highly Desired:
  • Knowledge in Java (or similar OOP programming language)
  • Experience with GitExtentions, Eclipse IDE, TestNG, Maven
  • Experience in setting up automated testing of applications and make changes to automated scripts to match product changes
