Job description

Purpose: This position is responsible for hands on assembly, testing, and packaging of mechanical systems, equipment and components in a production assembly line environment. The Assembler will be tasked with assigned quality control, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assembling and finished product-sub assembly validation. Ideal candidates will have a high level of mechanical inclination and aptitude, in addition to formal applicable education, skilled certifications, vocational course completion and past relative experience.

Responsibilities โ€ข Build electromechanical assemblies to print, positioning, and physically mounting components, wiring assemblies per schematics and performing OHM testing to verify compliance, assuring test free movement โ€ข Interpret electrical, hydraulic schematics and diagrams โ€ข Plumb, bend and assemble hydraulic tubing and fittings โ€ข Fit gears, drive couplings and other mechanical assemblies โ€ข Finish test and packaging final or sub-assembly product โ€ข Read, understand, and follow engineering and manufacturing documents, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly drawings and work instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams โ€ข Perform required in-process quality checks and escalate non-conformances as needed โ€ข Follow work order instructions to safely produce required quantities within specifications โ€ข Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area โ€ข Accurately complete and maintain all required production and quality documentation โ€ข Operate fork truck and other equipment safely and competently โ€ข Adhere to company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements Requirements โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent โ€ข One (1) year of wiring or electromechanical assembly experience preferred โ€ข Vocational or formal applicable education or certifications a plus โ€ข Skilled and experience in small machine assembly, precision machining measuring tool use, GD&T comprehension and industrial manufacturing environments โ€ข Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams preferred โ€ข Ability to read instructions, safely operate equipment, and visually inspect parts โ€ข Proficient use of hand and power tools โ€ข Good hand dexterity and grip strength โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills โ€ข Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills โ€ข Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability, read and comprehend operational instructions โ€ข Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment โ€ข Ability to efficiently manage time and work independently with minimal supervision โ€ข Basic knowledge of Microsoft platforms (Word, Ecel....) โ€ข Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions โ€ข Self-motivated, able to take initiative, and work with minimal supervision โ€ข Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, bending, and reaching โ€ข Maintain constant attendance
