In this role, you will be our go-to professional handling residential power delivery, high-end equipment hookups, panel upgrades, and automatic standby generator installations.

In this unique role, you will be our premier cross-trained professional. You will handle heavy residential electrical installations, including electrical panel upgrades and automatic standby generators (as a certified Generac Power Pro Premier Dealer), while actively installing, wiring, and commissioning high-efficiency HVAC equipment. If you are a licensed electrician who enjoys mechanical hands-on work, premium equipment installations, and representing a respected local brand, we want you on our team.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Install, wire, and commission residential and light commercial standby generator systems and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
    • Coordinate sub-panel installations and utility line tie-ins to support seamless whole-home backup power.
    • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and component replacement on existing standby systems.
    • Run power supply wiring, conduit (EMT/PVC), and disconnect boxes for newly installed HVAC equipment, heat pumps, and boilers.
    • Execute residential service entries and panel upgrades (e.g., 100A to 200A/400A service changes) to accommodate modern climate and power demands.
    • Balance panel loads and handle associated low-voltage wiring for controls and smart thermostats when integrated with heavy equipment installs.
    • Troubleshoot and repair standard residential electrical faults, short circuits, and code violations.
    • Ensure all work meets or exceeds the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Bucks County/municipal building regulations.
    • Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA safety protocols.

    • Manufacturer training certifications (e.g., Generac) are a plus.

    Technical & Physical Requirements:
    • Proficient in bending conduit, sizing wires, and reading standard residential electrical blueprints.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills, you will be representing our brand directly inside local homes.
    • Physical ability to navigate attics, crawlspaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate a company-issued service vehicle.
