About the Position

As a Strategic IT Advisor, you will work with clients to transform their organizations through the strategic use of technology and AI innovation.Strategic IT Advisors are tasked with addressing the holistic technology needs of an organization-including emerging AI opportunities-to drive efficiency, employee/client satisfaction, and profitability.You'll serve as a thought leader, helping clients understand how AI can be integrated into their technology roadmap to create sustainable competitive advantages.


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of common SMB tech stacks (Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server,firewalls, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in business environments, including familiarity with Microsoft AI tools (Copilot, Azure AI, Power Platform AI capabilities) and emerging AI technologies
  • Ability to articulate AI use cases and value propositions to C-suite executives in accessible, business-focused terms


Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic consulting to create and manage a technology vision and roadmap for 3-5 years
  • Engage regularly with key stakeholders in the organization, including CEO, CFO, COO toestablishdirection for future IT investments and programs to help clients achieve their business goals
  • Guide clients in developing and implementing AI strategies that align with their businessobjectives,identifyingopportunities for AI-driven automation, enhanced decision-making, and competitive advantage
  • Serve as a trusted AI advisor, helping clients navigate the evolving AI landscape including considerations for responsible AI adoption, data readiness, and AI governance frameworks
  • Continuously advise clients on technology trends and opportunities within their organization
  • Write and deliver IT strategic roadmaps prioritizing initiatives and projects aligned to client's mission and business strategy
  • Commitment to Continuous Improvement Processes
  • IT staffing and training plans
  • IT budget optimization
  • Build and elevate the GadellNet brand image within industry and the community
  • Lead and execute special projects including IT audits, application optimization projects, and other IT strategy related requests
  • Architect and plan business solution architectures with a solid understanding of Microsoft stack technologies, including Server, SQL, Azure, and Office365
  • Coordinate with GadellNet Operations Team to ensure IT projects and services are strategically aligned with requirements and executed towards successful completion
  • Facilitate and perform pre-sales activities focused on generating new strategic consulting engagements andidentifyingopportunities for GadellNet Managed Services
